01 Food
Homemade Food
I mostly ate homemade food from my great-grandma, grandma, and my uncle's personal chef. I had homemade sancocho and salmon with pasta for lunch. It was one of the best home-cooked meals I ever had.
02 Hotels
Marriott Panama
This hotel was my favorite so far because of its free breakfast, helpful staff, and direct access to the Albrook Mall through a cafe. At first, you would think you're in the wrong mall because a lot of those shops are closed. However, you have to keep walking to see the multitude of open shops. This mall is the largest in North and South America. Trust me, people were not lying because I only made it halfway through and that only took 30 min. There is also a second floor in case you did not see enough stores on the first floor. The hotel included breakfast with a variety of great foods to choose from.
Megapolis Panama
A nice hotel in the Panama City, Balboa area. It used to be the Hard Rock Cafe but is now called Megapolis. During the time I visited, it was still some renovations being made to certain areas that were not available yet.
Grand Decameron Panama
Based on the website's photos, the aesthetics were also outdated. There was a wide variety of food options that were included in the stay. However, the overall taste was mediocre and I would not recommend eating here. There were also no elevators since the hotel was built on the side of a mountain. There will be a lot of walking, depending on which building you stay in.
03 Activities
Multiplaza Mall
This large mall was modern and beautiful to walk through. There was a variety of stores from well-known luxury stores to everyday clothing stores. There was a some restaurants in different parts of the mall that you can eat at. The food court had a ton of options to choose from on the third floor and it looked never ending. If you want to visit a mall that is modern but not busy all of the time, definitely check out the Multiplaza.
